Sophie wanted to create a hat brand from her own personal experience of wearing lots of hats and headscarves. In her younger years, Sophie used to straighten her hair but it would stay curly at the front of her head which made her feel self conscious and so she would wear a headscarf or hat to cover it up and feel confident.

However, Sophie quickly discovered that there were no brands that purely sold hats and therefore it was not easy to shop around and browse ranges. Where she did find some, often the sizing wasn’t right and the selection was limited, not offering enough choice so this in turn inspired her to create her own collection.

Over the years, Sophie has fallen more in love with hats and loves wearing them to complete an outfit. The hat trend is growing and she wants to see even more people feeling confident wearing them.
